SUMMARY
Flutter and Backend engineer with 5+ years of commercial experience. I proactively design and lead features from the very start
and deliver applications end-to-end, from scratch to production. I use AI-powered development to ship faster without trading
off quality, with close attention to detail at every stage.

WORK EXPERIENCE
POWERCODE Ukraine
Senior Flutter & Backend Engineer April 2024 – Present
● Leadership: Led the development of core features of a banking application from the start and owned the system
architecture for mobile and backend projects. Apart from that, I was responsible for guiding a team of 4 developers, setting
the code standards, and reviewing PRs.
● AI-Powered Development: Designed and adopted an AI-assisted development workflow on an existing project, writing
custom Claude Code skills, rules, and commands that encoded project conventions. As a result, increasing code consistency
and cutting code review time by approximately 16 hours per week.
● Observability: Built Grafana dashboards and alerts on app metrics, logs, and traces, giving the team live visibility into app
health and enabling quick response to anomalies.
● Security & Fraud Prevention: Detected an ongoing SMS pumping bot attack on the login flow through traffic anomalies
and mitigated it with reCAPTCHA v3 as well as migrating to the new SMS Provider, preventing an estimated $2000/month
in SMS provider fees.
EXTRAWEST Dnipro, Ukraine
Middle+ Flutter Developer Oct 2023 – Dec 2024
● Offline First: Architected and deployed a Flutter Application used by government workers working in weak connection
areas. Used a combination of relational and non-relational databases (SQLite, Hive) to achieve fast data synchronization.
● Bluetooth LE: Implemented a universal BLE interface layer to streamline reading different device GATT characteristics and
process the data in-app, cutting the time needed to adopt a new device. Developed background BLE scan and reconnect
logic, eliminating frequent connection issues users had reported, with no noticeable battery impact.
USoftware Lviv, Ukraine
Middle Flutter Developer Jun 2022 – Sep 2023
● CI/CD: Designed and implemented an extensive GitLab CI/CD pipeline covering testing, building, code signing, and
deployment to production across multiple environments, which reduced developers' manual work by 4-6 hours per release,
with real-time Slack notifications to keep the team updated on the status of the build and release stage.
● Native Integrations: Replaced a limited third-party video calling SDK Flutter package with a custom native wrapper around
the vendor’s iOS/Android SDKs, exposing a unified API via platform channels for precise control over every SDK call. As a
result, removed 2 workarounds and eliminated a video stop working in the background on iOS as well as gaining
customization options the initial library didn’t provide.
Fitbase GmbH Berlin, Germany
Junior Flutter Developer Oct 2021 – Jun 2022
● Firebase: Reimagined Firebase Auth email flow and added social login options (Google / Apple / Facebook OAuth2),
nearly doubling the sign-up conversion rate. Configured Firebase Analytics and A/B Testing to track user behavior and
identify drop-off points in key flows, enabling the product team to make data-driven UX decisions.
