Freight forwarding of cargoes at port Reni, Ukraine

Responsible for end to end management of clients' international shipping including:
Processing /preparing appropriate international ocean shipping documentation, letters of instruction, bill of ladings, delivery orders, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin etc. Ensuring documents accuracy.
Reviewing /preparing/collecting documents and information for Customs clearance (export & transit).
Classifying products using Ukrainian HTS codes (mainly: wheat, barley, corn, peas and soya beans in bulk).
Providing export/transit clearance for ocean shipments based on Ukraine’s customs requirements. Using the MD Office program for issuing custom’s declarations for export/transit.
Preparing and overseeing for loading of cargo as per customer's request.
Organizing collection, dispatching, receiving, warehouse handling and loading of cargo for further delivery to the final destination.
Calculating weight, volume, or cost of goods to be moved.
Providing shipment status notification to clients.
Communicating directly with Shippers and Consignees, Warehouse managers and keeping the record of the goods’ inventory.
Negotiating with Shippers to define/secure the most cost effective handling structure for the transportation of their cargoes.
Serving as the liaison with customer and carriers in contract negotiations and protect the customers shipping interests.
Coordinating /collaborating with custom brokers, ships agents, stevedore companies, survey companies and carriers. Negotiating with above mentioned service providers regarding most economical transportation costs. Collecting invoices from related parties.
Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
Managing and monitoring day-to-day aspects of shipping, tracking, tracing and billing for export ocean shipments to meet customer needs.
Maintaining management and overseas offices informed on a regular basis, alerting management of business opportunities, problems /issues.
Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements.
Communicating service issues to client and management with ability to resolve and follow through.
Updating clients and investigated potential queries they may have.
Informing clients of factors such as shipping options, timeliness, and regulations that may affect shipments.
Setting and coordinating the shipments with follow-up & follow-through that continues to improve organization, efficiency, customer satisfaction & company profit.
