WORK EXPERIENCE
QA Engineer
MetLife, remote (Sep 2024 – Present)
Worked across a suite of interconnected Web and Desktop applications, including a CRM and multiple internal tools with tightly
coupled workflows and data flows.
Environment characterized by heavy business logic and numerous cross-system integrations (email, telephony, data services,
internal subsystems).
Responsibilities & Contributions
Planned and executed end-to-end testing (functional, UI, smoke, regression, exploratory, ad-hoc) across CRM and companion
apps, validating cross-app scenarios and data consistency.
Drove requirements clarification with business users/analysts. Translated ambiguous or undocumented processes into actionable
test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Established the test documentation process from scratch: created templates and maintained living test cases, checklists and
coverage/traceability for the areas owned, expanding scope release by release.
Acted as a bridge between business and engineering: coordinated with developers on defect triage/fixes and with business
stakeholders on UAT orchestration and sign-off.
Supported process tuning for the QA function (entry/exit criteria, regression strategy, definition of done/ready for test).
After feature testing, ran targeted regression on all adjacent modules/features impacted by the change. Selected tests based on
business criticality and risk.
Before each deploy, executed a comprehensive cross-application regression, compiled release reports (coverage, pass/fail, known
issues) and facilitated UAT to confirm readiness.
Participated in daily stand-ups, bi-weekly planning and retrospectives; handled incoming urgent items with ad-hoc testing when
timelines were compressed.
Converted undocumented legacy flows into clear test assets and checklists, enabling predictable testing cycles despite scarce
specs.
Exposed cross-app defects in data synchronization and role/permission handling by combining exploratory testing with change-
impact analysis and log/evidence gathering.
Introduced a risk-based regression catalog per application area, improving focus on high-impact scenarios before releases.

QA Engineer
Risk.ink, remote (Nov 2022 – Aug 2024)
Tested mobile web and hybrid apps for a gambling platform: onboarding, KYC flows, wallets/payments, game catalog, session
management and promotional landing pages.
Platforms: real iOS/Android devices (primary) and desktop browsers (Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Edge).
Responsibilities & Contributions
Planned and executed functional, UI, smoke, acceptance and risk-based regression testing for each new module and release.
Built and maintained test plans, test cases, checklists and coverage/traceability matrices in TestRail. Kept artifacts current as
features evolved.
Created release regression packs (per module + platform matrix) and a “install smoke” set to validate deployments on test
environments.
Performed mobile-specific checks: viewport/responsiveness, touch/gesture behavior, device orientation, memory/network
variability and session resilience.
Verified landing pages end-to-end: visual parity vs Figma, form validation/submission, redirects, authentication hand-off and
security/authorization boundaries.
Ran API tests in Postman when UI wasn’t yet available or to isolate defects. Parameterized requests and grouped them into
reusable collections.
Used SQL (read-heavy, occasional clean-ups) to validate data persistence, state transitions and to remove stray test records when
necessary.
Collaborated in a Scrum-style team (PM, Analyst, Designer, Dev, QA): monthly planning, story refinement, demos, retros and ad-
hoc brainstorming for tricky defects.
Managed work in Jira/Asana with TestRail links. Documented decisions and test evidence in Confluence. Provided concise test
reports per release (coverage, pass/fail, defects, known issues, readiness).
Discovered a critical authorization flaw where some landing flows could grant access to other users’ accounts. Reproduced with
crafted URL states and API calls, documented impact and worked with developers to harden session/identity checks, preventing
account takeover in production.
Introduced a tiered regression strategy (smoke → core → extended) that shortened average verification time while maintaining
high-risk coverage across web and mobile.

QA Engineer
Banza, remote (Aug 2021 – Aug 2022)
Planned and executed functional, UI, smoke and risk-based regression testing across CRM modules (lead/opportunity flows,
payment processing, document generation/signing, access/roles, reporting).
Built and maintained test cases, checklists, coverage/traceability matrices and bug reports, kept artifacts current as features
evolved.
Led test effort estimation for features/releases, factoring system knowledge, integration complexity, historical defects and peer
input from similar projects.
Drove requirements refinement: reviewed business specs, prepared questions and aligned acceptance criteria with BAs and
stakeholders on joint calls.
Performed API testing for REST and SOAP endpoints: request/response validation, auth, data mapping, error handling and
idempotency. Created Postman collections, parameterized requests and added lightweight checks to automate common
scenarios, used SoapUI for SOAP contract/regression suites.
Selected and ran targeted regression packs in TestRail, tracked execution time and produced concise test reports (coverage,
pass/fail, defects, known issues, release readiness).
Collaborated daily with developers, participated in Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retros).
Conducted bi-weekly QA reviews to align on quality risks and coverage.
Occasional SQL SELECT queries to support data verification (read-only).
Uncovered a critical data-integrity defect in the API → DB flow: payloads were written incompletely due to schema/field
constraints, leading to silent truncation. Isolated via hypothesis-driven API tests and cross-checks in integration logs, worked with
devs to adjust mapping and storage, preventing data loss in production.
Established regression suites in TestRail and a requirements-to-tests coverage matrix, improving change impact analysis and
reducing missed edge cases in release cycles.

QA Engineer
State Company “NAIS”, remote (Apr 2017 – Aug 2021)
Built and maintained positive/negative test cases and role-based regression suites (Notary, Registrar, Bank, CNAP) aligned with
frequently changing legal/normative requirements; prioritized by risk, severity and business impact.
Performed functional, UI, smoke and deep regression testing across core modules: data search & retrieval, registrations/updates,
encumbrance handling, fee/charge logic, PDF extracts & certificates, audit trail, RBAC/permissions, data validation and cross-
registry integrations.
Conducted REST API testing in Postman to verify integrations between NAIS systems and external consumers (e.g., banks) and
peer state registries, validated contracts, authentication/authorization, error handling and idempotency.
Collaborated on requirements: reviewed release task lists with Business Analysts, clarified edge cases against legislation, derived
scenarios and updated coverage as rules shifted.
Produced release test reports (executed scenarios, pass/fail, defect list, known issues, readiness by role) used in go/no-go
decisions with QA and BAs, for urgent releases, documented follow-ups and hotfix priorities.
Acted as primary QA contact for an external development team: reproduced issues, supplied logs/requests/responses, verified
fixes and provided rapid feedback to shorten cycles.
Planned and coordinated day-to-day QA work for colleagues on registries I owned (task scoping, regression focus, sequencing).
Test environments: staging/UAT only, facilitated UAT with product owners and performed periodic smoke/regression on staging.
Systematized role-based regression checklists to keep pace with regulatory updates, improving consistency and reducing rework
during UAT.
Delivered reproducible Postman collections and sample payloads for partner integrations, accelerating defect triage with external
teams.
Maintained compliance focus (PII handling, access control), ensuring features met regulatory and security expectations prior to
release.
QA Engineer
AS “Alfa Insurance”, remote (Feb 2016 – Apr 2017)
Sole QA for a small tech team building an iOS app for auto-insurance quoting and purchase, plus related web modules.
Tested core mobile flows on real iOS devices: select insurance service → calculate premium (products, discounts, add-ons) →
generate invoice/receipt (PDF) → payment flow verification.
Performed smoke and scheduled regression runs per build; functional & UI testing for new offers/features, exploratory testing to
expand coverage beyond written cases.
Designed and maintained Excel-based test cases/checklists per module, continuously refactored cases as features evolved to
improve clarity and reuse.
Logged issues and tracked readiness in Trello cards with clear repro steps, expected vs actual, evidence (screenshots/PDFs) and
status, coordinated fixes directly with developers and a PM.
Created concise test reports for each build (executed scenarios, pass/fail, defect list, known issues, feature readiness) to support
release decisions.
Validated web components for premium calculation, promo logic, add-ons and document generation (layout/fields,
stamp/signature where applicable).
Served as website administrator: updated content via CMS, ran post-deploy sanity checks and acted as first-line support for
internal/external users, escalating technical issues to engineering.
Collaborated end-to-end in a Kanban-style flow: business request → task breakdown → dev → QA → release or rework, provided
rapid feedback loops to shorten fix cycles.
Identified a critical edge-case defect in premium calculation when combining certain services/discounts, documented and drove a
pre-release fix, preventing incorrect quotes in production.
Introduced a lightweight regression checklist for mobile & web, reducing verification time and improving consistency across
releases.
