WORK EXPERIENCE


1982 – 1997 Serving in the Armed Forces as Interpreter, Senior Interpreter, Head of Translation Department, Assistant Defense Attaché in Laos, Assistant Defense Attaché in Thailand. Resigned due to Personnel Reduction.

Occupying the above mentioned positions I executed the duties of driver-interpreter on a regular basis meeting foreign delegations at the airport and moving them by car to the hotels or conference halls as well as the responsibilities of personal chauffeur for the heads and leaders of these delegations.


1998 – 2002 Office Manager-Interpreter, Kiev Representative Office of BROTHER GMBH (Japan, Germany).
The Company was engaged in selling and technical support of Brother Industrial Sewing Equipment across Ukraine. So my main duties included meeting Brother managers and specialists from Germany and Japan at the airport and moving them by car to different sewing factories in Ukraine to carry out meetings and talks on equipment sale as well as technical support procedures. I also provided full oral and written translation/interpretation support for these activities.

2008 – 2011 Translator/Interpreter, ART-PROGRESS LLC, Kiev. The company was engaged in managing the erection of the first Ukrainian MDF and Laminated Flooring Plant equipped with Siempelkamp GmbH (Germany) lines and machines.
As the erection of the Plant and installation of German Equipment were carried out under the supervision of German specialists my duties and responsibilities included providing them with any kind of translation services from meeting these people at the airport and moving them by car to the construction site to oral and written translation of all activities and documents related to the erection, start-up and adjustment and commissioning of the MDF-Plant.


2011 – 2012 Translator/Interpreter, INTELLECTUAL SYSTEMS LLC, Kiev. The Company is engaged in creating life-supporting infrastructure of modern enterprises, buildings, offices, cottages, including the installation of information and engineering systems and networks as follows: electrical power supply, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, security alarm, computer, fire suppression, telephone, video monitoring, tele- and audio, access control, dispatching control and protection of information.


2012 – present. Technical Translation Specialist. TRK Engineering LLC - a construction and investment Company with extensive experience in the construction market of Ukraine. It offers a full range of services from design to commissioning for all types of commercial real estate.
My duties apart from translation services also included meeting foreign specialists at the airport and moving them by car to the hotel, construction site as well as around Kiev and across Ukraine.
