SQL developer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MS SQL Developer to join our team and work on long-term software projects for the US market.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and developing reliable database solutions. You will work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to build and maintain high-performance database systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Create and optimize stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers
• Write efficient and complex SQL queries
• Analyze and improve database performance
• Design and optimize database schemas
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security
• Collaborate with developers to support application development
• Participate in database deployments and release activities
• Document database structures and technical solutions
• Communicate with US-based colleagues and stakeholders

Requirements

• Commercial experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL
• Experience writing stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers
• Experience with query optimization and execution plan analysis
• Understanding of database normalization and indexing strategies
• Experience working with large datasets
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and database maintenance concepts
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git
• English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher, with the ability to communicate effectively with US-based colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team

Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• Experience with Azure SQL Database
• Knowledge of C# and .NET
• Experience with performance monitoring and database tuning
• Experience working on healthcare or other regulated-industry projects
