The V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering belongs to the Faculty of
Infocommunications at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. The department
teaches and develops network security mechanisms and other types of information protection and
the basic principles of construction and operation of infocommunication infrastructure of
existing and promising global, national, regional, metropolitan, corporate, local networks using
wired and wireless standards Ethernet, Wi-Fi , WiMax, LTE, LiFi, etc.), mobile technologies
(2G / 3G / 4G / 5G), digital television, cognitive radio, satellite and Internet of Things.
I am engaged in scientific activity in the field of telecommunications and cybersecurity, writing
articles. I take part in the improvement of educational programs and the development of the
department in general. I also manage the department website.

ACM brings together computing educators, researchers, and professionals to inspire dialogue
and share resources. As the world’s largest computing society, ACM strengthens the profession's
collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and recognition of
technical excellence. I am a developer and administrator of the Information & Communication
Technologies ACM-W Chapter web resource in Kharkiv, Ukraine. I also organize online
meetings with representatives of our community and represent our community's interests at
international conferences.
