• Scope: ~UAH 4.6B turnover; 2 legal entities in the consolidation perimeter (main LLC + 100% subsidiary,
a Diia.City resident); 27-person accounting team including the HR & payroll function (7 people) - both
functional and administrative reporting line.
• External auditor: PwC. Closed the first annual audit "on the fly" - the role had been vacant for 2 months
before my start in January 2025.
• SAP S/4HANA (FI) - end user in an existing environment; SAF-T UA - co-driving implementation of the
standard audit file with IT to final go-live.
• IFRS 16: hands-on lease accounting (store network - sizable ROU-asset portfolio) within a third-party SAP
module.
• Diia.City: full tax and HR administration of the resident subsidiary - gig contracts, special PIT and
distributed-profit tax rates, monitoring of Diia.City qualifying-criteria compliance.
• Imports (~90% of procurement): currency control, cross-border settlement deadlines, import VAT credit.

Chief Accountant August 2023 - December 2024
Real-estate development group (investment & construction holding), Kyiv - acquisition of the property
complex of "Electronmash", a major Kyiv industrial state-owned enterprise, from the State Property Fund of
Ukraine
• Transaction: acquisition of a major Kyiv SOE's assets (industrial production had already been wound
down at the time of the deal; the underlying value was the land plot and production buildings earmarked
for redevelopment). All contractual obligations to the State Property Fund were met; the deal was
successfully closed.
• Due Diligence: in-house DD performed by the group's internal teams (no external Big4 advisors).
• Asset transfer - full documentation cycle for transferring ownership rights from the State Property Fund
to the buyer LLC, physical inventory, opening balance setup for the new owner.
• Settlement of legacy SOE payroll arrears - ~UAH 60M of payments plus taxes (PIT, military levy, social
security) for ~200 employees, executed in a 2-person team.
• Bookkeeping setup from scratch for the new legal entity - accounting policy, chart of accounts, registers,
primary document workflow.
• Lease accounting for large premises - set-up of accounting for lease contracts on the lessor side.
• Reporting - financial reporting to owners, regulatory and tax reporting to government authorities.

goods), e-commerce + brick-and-mortar
• Scope: ~UAH 900M turnover (peak) -> UAH 400-500M (after COVID-19 and the start of the full-scale
invasion); 2 LLCs in the perimeter; 8-person team; one merchandise warehouse.
• Crisis management of the finance function through a double shock (COVID + full-scale war), with
revenue dropping by 35-45%: team restructuring, cost optimization, relocation of the warehouse to a
cheaper site during the pandemic, full transition of accounting to remote operations.
• Accounting system: 1C; no external audit and no IFRS reporting (the entities qualified as medium-sized
under Ukrainian thresholds).

Group of agricultural companies (grain crops + export), head office in Kyiv
• Scale and dynamics: the group grew from 3 companies in different regions of Ukraine (~1,500 ha at
start) to 15 legal entities (~20,000 ha). Set-up of accounting from scratch at newly created entities and
recovery of accounting at acquired companies. Team - 3 direct reports; unified accounting methodology
across the group.
• Export operations: occasional direct export contracts for grain to international markets (Poland); the
primary sales channel was domestic supplies to Ukrainian grain traders.
• Special VAT regime for agricultural producers (until its abolition in 2017).
• Accounting system: 1C.

"Agro-Oven" - broiler business division, the 3rd-largest poultry-meat producer in Ukraine. Actual scope of
work: methodology and manufacturing controlling
• Broiler division scope: a single legal entity, UAH 1.5B turnover, ~2,000 employees, full vertically
integrated cycle - hatchery -> grow-out farms -> feed mill -> poultry processing plant -> finished-goods
warehouses -> transport fleet -> maintenance crews. Poultry-meat exports.
• The owner was preparing me for the Chief Accountant role of the broiler division; on this development
track I systematically studied the production process - regular site visits and assessments at all
production locations (time-and-motion studies, physical inventories, cost-norm setting, budget reconciliation, audits of write-offs and cost-formation methodology, control over critical points: chick
placement, grow-out, slaughter, feed and veterinary supplies movement).
• First-data-capture automation case: designed and rolled out a pilot Brigade Foreman workstation in 1C
at the largest production site (40 poultry houses, ~1.5M birds per cycle, 5 brigades). Before
implementation, brigade leaders, energy engineers, economists, accountants and veterinarians were
duplicating entry of the same indicators into different systems; after implementation the data are
entered once, into a purpose-built interface (with control limits and hard-bound reference data) and
flow automatically into the accounting system as a single source of truth. Project extension: design of
Warehouse Manager and Veterinarian workstations. Acted as solution owner and coordinator with the
IT developer and the connectivity provider (the project required laying internet to remote production
sites).

• Context: joined at the final pre-IPO stage; the company's WSE listing took place ~1.5 months after my
start. The following 3 years - work in a publicly listed company under continuous external audit and
regulatory oversight.
• Local statutory reporting and consolidation templates feeding IFRS conversion: ensured completeness
and accuracy of Ukrainian-statutory data flowing into the IFRS conversion (performed by a dedicated
IFRS specialist) for quarterly disclosures of the public company.
• Continuous M&A Due Diligence - driven by the group's active land-bank expansion: contributed to DD
procedures for acquired agricultural assets on the buyer's side; later, supplied data for reverse DD
supporting investor onboarding and large-scale bank financing.
• Cross-border operations under currency control: import of agricultural machinery and spare parts;
export of grain (both domestic supplies to traders and direct export contracts abroad); compliance with
NBU currency oversight, complex extensions of settlement deadlines. Hands-on experience with VAT
refund procedures.
