Responsibilities

Managed the full driver qualification and compliance process for U.S. trucking companies, ensuring compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations. Reviewed MVRs, PSP reports, FMCSA Clearinghouse records, CDL status, medical certificates, and driver qualification files to assess hiring eligibility and identify safety risks. Coordinated the entire onboarding process, including document verification, drug and alcohol testing, and communication with drivers, carriers, clinics, SAP providers, TPAs, and company owners.

Handled pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, follow-up, and post-accident drug testing, including locating certified collection sites, scheduling appointments, monitoring test completion, and following up on laboratory results.

Assisted drivers throughout the SAP Return-to-Duty process by coordinating with SAP professionals, explaining FMCSA requirements, tracking each step of the program, and ensuring successful completion before returning to safety-sensitive duties.

Resolved CDL and licensing issues, including suspended licenses, medical certificate updates, state DMV requirements, Clearinghouse requests, and other compliance-related matters. Investigated driver records, prepared hiring recommendations based on safety history, and advised company owners on potential hiring risks.

Worked with multiple trucking companies simultaneously, managed high volumes of driver cases, and ensured timely onboarding while maintaining compliance with federal regulations.

Successfully managed hundreds of driver qualification and onboarding cases while maintaining compliance with FMCSA and DOT requirements. Reduced onboarding delays by proactively resolving licensing, medical certificate, SAP, and drug testing issues.
