PROJECTS
News Analysis System
News analytic platform automate process of collecting news and analyze them. Developed a complete news
processing pipeline, including automated scraping, data cleaning, and storage in PostgreSQL with pgvector
for semantic search. Implemented machine learning models for automated news clustering and importance
ranking using scikit-learn and transformers. Built an AI-powered assistant using LangChain, integrating RAG
and web search tools to provide context-aware answers. Engineered a scalable backend architecture using
FastAPI and Celery with Redis for background task processing. (GitHub)
Ukrainian Handwritten Text Recognition
Аn end-to-end computer vision pipeline designed to accurately detect and transcribe complex ukrainian
handwriting. Leveraging a two-stage computer vision architecture, I implemented text region bounding with
a fine-tuned YOLOv8 model, followed by character sequence extraction using a custom-trained TrOCR via
Hugging Face transformers. Built entirely with PyTorch and OpenCV, the memory-optimized inference
system was deployed as an interactive web application using Streamlit for image processing and visualization.
