Developed a responsive travel packing application that generates personalized packing lists based on
destination, weather, trip duration, trip type, and travel style.
Built the application with Next.js App Router, reusable React components, route-specific loading states, error
handling, and not-found pages.
Implemented server-side Next.js Route Handlers for weather and image APIs, keeping third-party API
credentials server-side and transforming external API responses for the client.
Implemented persistent trip storage with localStorage, including saving, editing, and managing trips with
separate original and current packing lists.
Developed an interactive packing readiness score that compares the current packing list with the original
recommendations and accounts for required items and quantities.
Added light/dark theme switching with persistent user preferences and responsive UI across screen sizes.
