•Ensure logistics records systems are well managed and maintained (Vendor list, OTS, Contract data base and FWC follow up).
•Supervise the vehicle/driver and ensure that systems are in place to fuel usage logbook and
Vehicle scheduling as described in the Fleet section on Logistics manual.
Liaise with finance personnel to ensure compliance and payment schedules.
•Oversee tracking of all assets to ensure accurate record keeping of GOAL and donor assets, including exceptional items that require registration and movement tracking, in accordance with the GOAL Asset section.
•Coordinate Monthly Asset spot check and June/Dec hundred percent asset count (with Finance).
•Ensure disposal of assets is reviewed annually and donor requirements followed and share the same information to the Area Coordinator, LogCo/CD
•Ensure that the site has the appropriate IT and communication systems support
•Oversee office and accommodation management in accordance with GOAL safety protocols
•Liaise with CIMIC in the facilitation of staff movements.
•Ensure that GOAL logistics policies and procedures as outlined in the GOAL Logistics Manual are rigorously followed
•Train and build capacity of local logistics staff members in best practice, GOAL logistics procedures, systems and management
•Submission of periodical reports to Country Director/Area Coordinator or Logistics Coordinator (as appropriate) as outlined in the GOAL Logistics Manual and internal Management reporting system.
•Negotiate contracts in accordance with the GOAL logistics manual and in consultation with the Area Coordinator or Country Director /Logistics Coordinator (as appropriate)
•Acting as a focal point, takes responsibility for staff acknowledgment about GOAL Safety and Security policies and procedures
•Liaison with GOAL logistics staff in other sites as appropriate.
•Carry out additional tasks requested by the Area Coordinator.
