    Job Title: Safety Manager (Full-Time, Remote — PST Time Zone)

    Company Overview: A California-based logistics company Car Hauling is seeking a dedicated Safety Manager/Claims with strong written and spoken English skills to ensure compliance, promote a safety-first culture, and support operational excellence.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role with U.S.-based logistics companies
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. safety regulations and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, DOT, FMCSA)
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Experience developing and implementing safety programs and policies

    Work Conditions:

    • Fully remote position
    • Must be available to work within the Pacific Time Zone (PST)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety policies and procedures
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, etc.)
    • Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, including incidents, near-misses, and trends
    • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
    • Prepare and maintain audit-ready safety records and documentation
    • Order and manage toll devices and other safety-related equipment for trucks
    • Maintain accurate records of truck and trailer repairs and maintenance
    • Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions
    • Lead safety training programs for new hires and existing employees
    • Monitor and manage 90-day and annual inspections for all equipment
    • Schedule and maintain compliance with random and pre-employment drug testing programs
    • Manage, file, and prepare IFTA reports
    • Monitor Samsara for safety and compliance; identify violations and issue disciplinary actions as needed
    • Track and address logbook violations; proactively notify drivers of upcoming violations
    • Maintain accurate safety records, including onboarding and offboarding documentation for drivers and owner-operators
    • Obtain and manage driver records, including Clearinghouse, EPN, PSP, MVR, and FMCSA reports; conduct annual record reviews on a standard schedule
    • Collaborate with operations and management to continuously improve workplace safety standards
    • Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices
