● Collected and processed 36 years of daily meteorological data using the Meteostat API,
Python, and Pandas.
● Applied the Mann–Kendall test and rolling Spearman correlation to analyze trends and
relationships in extreme heat events.
● Calculated the Excess Heat Factor (EHF) and created visualizations of climate trends and
heat-stress patterns using Matplotlib.
● Found a statistically significant increase in cumulative bioclimatic heat stress of +33.8 °C² per
decade over the study period.

Democracy Index & Socio-Economic Correlation Analysis
