In my role as a Safety Dispatcher, I developed and demonstrated the following skills and achievements:

*Confidently conducted negotiations in English with drivers (including owner-operators) and dispatchers; coordinated actions during DOT inspections, safety violations, and out-of-service situations; prevented violations by promptly informing drivers about critical issues related to Hours of Service (HOS), logbooks, and vehicle condition; continuously monitored drivers’ compliance with FMCSA safety requirements in order to maintain safety scores at or below the national average among U.S. motor carriers.

*Solved tasks of varying complexity that required coordination between drivers, dispatchers, recruiting, and other departments; independently made decisions regarding fines, driver notifications, and repair strategies in critical situations involving accidents or failed DOT roadside inspections; maintained a high level of customer service; participated in the hiring and termination of drivers, analyzed PSP and MVR reports, and worked closely with recruiters; conducted phone interviews with drivers to verify their interstate trucking experience by asking questions related to Hours of Service regulations, cargo securement, breakaway systems, and other safety requirements.

*Maintained internal documentation and correspondence with DOT accurately and efficiently, including inspection reports, invoices, DVERs, and fines; worked with Excel spreadsheets and an HRM system; created customized Excel spreadsheets with advanced filtering systems to monitor safety processes for drivers operating under multiple motor carriers.

*Key achievement: successfully prevented new safety alerts in the companies under my supervision. In one company belonging to the second-highest inspection-volume group and having completed more than 100 DOT Roadside Inspections, I reduced the HOS Alert from 82% to 63%. I achieved this by independently developing and implementing a systematic communication strategy involving drivers and the HOS department, combined with consistent and rigorous monitoring of its execution.
